Due out in January of 2000, this all plastic kit includes 24 parts to assemble and paint. Built in approximately 1:8th scale, the Quasimodo is portrayed strapped to the torture wheel base with the base reading “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” The Hunchback kit comes in the standard, long retro boxes made famous by the classic kits.  The Hunchback of Notre Dame model kit is based on the famous novel of the same name by Victor Hugo. Only 28 years old when “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” was first published, Hugo wrote the 200,000 word manuscript in just six months. Classic films of the early 20th century portrayed the Hunchback as a tortured soul. To this day, the legend of Quasimodo lives on in book, film, and model kits.
