Successful figure kits that rivaled monsters as a smash success in the 1960s were based on characters from comic books, television and movies. One very popular kit was the Green Hornet Black Beauty.
This model kit was based on the short-lived TV show called "Green Hornet." Only on the air for one season in 1966, the program is remembered primarily for karate legend Bruce Lee's portrayal of sidekick Kato.

However, many fans might also remember the Green Hornet's supercar, the Black Beauty. Feeding off Black Beauty's historic popularity, Polar Lights has introduced a 1/32 scale model of this classic roadster. An original in its box is worth approximately $350.
