One of the most famous of the latter-day monsters attempting to revive the Frankenstein tradition was The Creature from the Black Lagoon, "The creature who remained secluded and unchallenged until man disturbed his lagoon." Who can forget such a slimy, scaled, horrifying-looking creature from this 1954 classic movie. Now, Polar Lights is bringing this monster up from the murky waters one last time. Back in the 1960s, this plastic model kit was a huge hit among monster kit builders. The original kit, still in its box, is valued at $500-$600.
